On Friday, February 24th, Chef David LeFevre is kicking off a seasonal series where he will host a guest chef and featured farmer at his Manhattan Beach restaurant, M.B. Post.
Inspired by the warm welcome he received in the South Bay, LeFevre is excited to showcase the goods of our local farmers while inviting chefs from near and far to prepare dishes from around the country – and the world for that matter. LeFevre’s quarterly Can You Dig It? program will feature a three-course meal of shareable small plates ($65), with an optional wine pairing available(+$35).
For the inaugural event, LeFevre will partner with good friend and former colleague Chef Giuseppe Tentori (Boka, GT Fish & Oyster in Chicago) to highlight produce from Maryann Carpenter of Coastal Farms (Santa Paula, CA) for the first friend-and-farmer luncheon. The meal of will have 1 seating at 12:00pm.
