The Party Writer/director Liz Goldwyn, granddaughter of movie mogul Samuel Goldwyn, teamed up with MAC Cosmetics for an evening of role-playing at the Los Altos Apartments to debut her burlesque-inspired short film, The Painted Lady, starring Jena Malone. The screening took place in the infamous Hearst suite, which was decorated like a 19th-century bordello, while costumed “ladies of the house”—including The Like’s drummer, Tennessee Thomas—created a tableau vivant in each room.
