John Goldwyn and Liz Goldwyn
In Living Color
The Party Writer/director Liz Goldwyn, granddaughter of movie mogul Samuel Goldwyn, teamed up with MAC Cosmetics for an evening of role-playing at the Los Altos Apartments to debut her burlesque-inspired short film, The Painted Lady, starring Jena Malone. The screening took place in the infamous Hearst suite, which was decorated like a 19th-century bordello, while costumed “ladies of the house”—including The Like’s drummer, Tennessee Thomas—created a tableau vivant in each room. The Players Liz Goldwyn, Jena Malone, Chloë Sevigny, Dita Von Teese, Jeffrey Deitch, Tony Goldwyn, Cameron Silver, Shiva Rose, Jenny Lewis, Rain Phoenix, Gina Gershon, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Nora Zehetner, George Kotsiopoulos The Highlights Sevigny embraced the party’s theme in a French maid-inspired look while Von Teese wore a black and white dress from her eponymous collection, matching her red pucker to a lip-shaped Lulu Guinness clutch for a cheeky twist. Meanwhile, The Painted Lady’s star, Malone, flew in straight from set of the second installment of The Hunger Games for 24 hours to support Goldwyn. Photos courtesy of Donato Sardella/WireImage
