The holidays are hectic everywhere, but in Aspen; it is a whole other ballgame. With town now alive for the season, you are certainly forgiven for needing to finish some last minute shopping. For your convenience—and pleasure—here are five stores to pick up last minute gifts for everyone (including yourself).
Offering a mix of bags, leather accessories and menswear, like the iconic, 100-year-old Mackinaw Cruiser, Filson, is perfect for the mountain-meets-GQ man. The Seattle-based company recently set-up shop in Aspen this month. With all of Filson’s wares made in the Pacific-Northwest, we can’t get enough of the finely crafted, yet rugged pieces.

Ranging from the elegant to the bohemian, Bandana is an Aspen staple for women and children. Look for ready-to-wear and accessories for her from designers like Vivienne Westwood to children’s pieces from designers like Ella Moss. The Aspen boutique pulls pieces from around the world, ranging from small artisans in California to European luxury brands.

Of Grape & Grain
Of Grape & Grain is the place to pick up holiday cheer—not that it is ever lacking in Aspen. The highly curated selection of wine and spirits is sourced from local distilleries like Woody Creek to European imports. As bubbles are always king for the holidays, try picking up a bottle of Crémant, a French cousin of Champagne. We love Parigot Crémant de Bourgogne.

Fur and Aspen winters go together like Champagne and oysters. The Parisian fur and fashion house, Yves Salomon, creates ultrastylish pieces to keep you warm and fashion-forward. Look for jackets, boleros and wraps in a variety of furs—from sable to kangaroo to mink.
