Cat Krantz Benner of Next Exit Photography says one of her maxims for covering weddings is to expect the unexpected. Still, Benner was shocked when her clients, Jarrod Barker and Kristy Lendino (wearing an elegant Monique Lhuillier gown), jumped into the pool after their reception at Villa Mara Malibu. “It was pretty crazy, actually,” Benner says. “In the blink of an eye, all of the bridesmaids held hands and jumped in. Then it was just one guest after another, all fully clothed. Everyone was laughing and screaming and hugging. In 10 years of photographing more than 500 weddings, I have never seen anything like that.”
