Bridal Sign Up

Carrie Truckenbrodt & Matthew Pinkham

June 30, 2012 | Chicago History Museum

Carrie and Matt nuzzling noses outside the Chicago History Museum. For the big day, Carrie chose a strapless gown with a beaded belt by Lazaro from Bella Bianca and a Nina veil from the Wedding Suite at Nordstrom.

The chic cake by Toni Patisserie & Café.

Bold centerpiece blooms by The Flower Firm.

Carrie’s bridesmaid, Kathryn, hand-painted the table numbers.

Guests were gifted Pink Truck wine.

Carrie’s pretty pink bouquet by The Flower Firm was pinned with a brooch that belonged to her grandmother.

Carrie’s dad surprised them with a pink Chevy getaway truck.

The Couple
After a brief meeting at a holiday party in 2008, Matt tracked Carrie down on Facebook and scored a first date at RL Restaurant. Fast-forward to 2010 and Matt proposed in the rain on bended knee. The pair celebrated at the site of their first date.

The Details
So Dressed Up handled the details, from sippable pink lemonade “escort cards” to favor tags. Food For Thought spun the summer menu.

The Party
Musician and friend Peter Groenwald performed the couple’s first dance song, “Have a Little Faith in Me,” before Beep Media brought
the party.
