Textured linens from florist Stacey Murdoch provided the elegant backdrop for the place settings.

The Ritz-Carlton’s pastry chef created the five-tiered vanilla chiffon cake with raspberry mousse filling, topped with gold polka dots and pink fondant flowers.

The Couple
Betsy and Arturo met at Baylor University and were good friends before they decided to date. After five years, Arturo romantically proposed in a hot air balloon early one April morning.

The Details
The ceremony at Royal Lane Baptist Church was personalized with special family moments, including unity candles lit by the mothers of the couple, nieces serving as flower girls and Betsy’s brother walking her down the aisle.

The Party
Guests were gifted personalized Koozies, sunglasses and glowstick necklaces as accessories for the dance party that ensued on the mercury-glass dance floor. Later, friends and family bid farewell to the Bali-bound couple with sparklers as they drove off in a black Bentley.
