Bridal Sign Up

Parya Etebari & Masoud Saman

October 12, 2013 | Omni Mandalay Hotel

Parya’s Augusta Jones trumpet dress and pear-shaped diamond necklace and earrings, paired with Masoud’s Ike Behar tuxedo, made for a timeless look.

Florist Shahrzad Azimipour mixed light pink and ivory roses, green and ivory baby hydrangeas, and white calla lilies for a perfect bouquet.

Masoud designed Parya’s princess-cut ring with a private jeweler in New York, while he sported a white gold Cartier Love band.

Chanel glittered at the bride's heels.

Pastel pink and ivory kept it classic, while a touch of lime green added a spirited theme to the tables.

Azam Nemati designed five tiers of superimposed fondant pillows and edible roses for a decadent cake.

The Couple
Parya and Masoud fell in love in college, and have been inseparable through their residencies (she’s a pediatric dentist; he’s a facial plastic surgeon). They tied the knot after 10 successful years together and look forward to many more!

The Details
The Persian ceremony included symbolic elements meant to promote joy and prosperity, such as the traditional grinding of sugar cones over a cloth—to sweeten the newlyweds’ life—by the ladies of both families as the ceremony was conducted.

The Party
The laid-back bride didn’t even blink an eye when the garden ceremony got drenched—just as she was all set to make her grand entrance on a gondola. The Omni relocated the wedding indoors 30 minutes before it started!
