The bride wore Badgley Mischka heels from Nordstrom.

A red vintage truck was a playful prop for the couple’s exit.

Escort cards were set in “logs” for rustic flair.

The pair’s wedding rings were from Donoho’s Jewellers in The Woodlands.

The bride wore an ivory gown by Jim Hjelm from Brickhouse Bridal. The couple was whisked away in a vintage Rolls-Royce from Monarch British Limousines. Alia Rdissi of Belle of the Ball helped plan the day.

The Couple
She’s a kindergarten teacher, and he is a football coach at Texas Lutheran University, where the two met in the bookstore.
The Details
Heirloom brooches that belonged to the bride’s and groom’s grandmother and great-grandmother adorned the seven-tiered, three-layered red velvet and white cake by Creative Confections by Roxane.
The Party
Guests sipped turquoise margaritas, to go with the red and turquoise theme, and exit sparklers were set against the backdrop of a red circa-1920 flatbed truck. “Menu cards” in the napkins at each place setting served as favors informing guests of a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
