THE PARTY The Pritzker Military Library held its annual gala at the Hilton Chicago, welcoming men and women from every branch of the armed services. THE SCENE Master of ceremonies Rob Stafford helped recognize the evening’s honorees: Pritzker Military Library Founder’s Award winners Albert Ratner and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, as well as the 2012 recipient of the Pritzker Military Library Literature Award for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing, Sir Max Hastings.
