The Party The Chicago Artists’ Coalition, a 38-year-old nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the arts community, hosted its second annual Starving Artist benefit.The Players Teams of celebrated artists and chefs, such as Jeanne Dunning with Jared Van Camp of Nellcôte, Erik Peterson with Erling Wu-Bower of The Publican, and Jenny Kendler with Beverly Kim of Bonsoirée, redefined the concept of a “starving artist” by creating edible installations enjoyed by the crowd and new works of art that were auctioned off at the event.Photography by Donna Binbek
