Little City, Big Contribution
THE PARTY More than 500 of Chicago’s humanitarians and philanthropists gathered at the John G. Shedd Aquarium for this year’s annual fundraising dinner for Little City Foundation. THE PLAYERS Supporters including Governor Pat Quinn, Little City Executive Director Shawn Jeffers, the evening’s emcee Bill Kurtis and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle were present as former mayor and longtime Little City supporter Richard M. Daley addressed the crowd via video. THE BOTTOM LINE RAM Racing presented the charity with a check for $20,000 raised at this year’s Hot Chocolate Walk for Little City, adding to the total amount of $250,000 raised to enhance the quality of life for individuals living with disabilities.
