On tour with the musicians, photographer Todd Rosenberg captured the unconventional practice session. “I try to document the musicians as they do whatever it is they do on tour,” says Rosenberg. “So when they are practicing in an airport, or on a train, or in a closet for that matter, it makes for great imagery.” Rosenberg shot the image from a distinct angle, staring upward at Martin and incorporating the texture of the ceiling. “I was trying to find a way to capture something different than a straight-on photo.” Mission accomplished.
