Saks Fifth Avenue joined CS magazine for this year’s annual Spring Fashion event, complete with a personal appearance by designer Yigal Azrouël, who recreated his fall 2012 runway show for attendees. Block 37’s large, raw event space was outfitted in décor by Event Creative and lighting by Sound Investment; guests walked into a cocktail party lit in neon shades of pink and yellow while Fig Media’s DJ Megan Taylor pumped tunes. With Belvedere Vodka pineapple and sage cocktails in hand, VIPs like Debi Lilly, Chris Freeman, Chris Dexter, Liz Kores, Jenn Lake, Philip Barash, Lester and Maureen Lampert, Graham Kostic, Terri Cable and Jon Cotay grabbed a few Kamehachi sushi rolls or passed bites provided by Entertaining Company before sauntering over to the Casa Spazio lounge, where the modern furniture showroom had temporarily set up its _ nest pieces. After cocktail hour the crowd was seated for the staged runway presentation of fall apparel.
