The Party The Mid-Atlantic chapter of the International Interior Design Association hosted a “fashion” show at Arlington’s Artisphere to raise $15,000 for the domestic violence shelter My Sister’s Place. The People ABC7/WJLA-TV evening news anchor Alison Starling emceed the event, which drew 780 guests. Best In Show Designers partnered with home-goods manufacturers to create the frocks, inspired by Raymond Saunders’ painting “Red Star” at the Corcoran Gallery.
