Longtime designer Karla Colletto and DC’s Design Army Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer Pum Lefebure celebrated the local launch of their sexy swimwear line, Swim at Your Own Risk, with an oh-so cool cocktail party, featuring a poolside fashion show, an outdoor screening of Jaws and live music from U.S. Royalty’s Paul Thornley.
Colletto and Lefebure’s fashionable friends—including T.H.E Artist Agency owner Lynda Erkiletian; ArtJamzs founder Michael Clements
and his wife (and one of last month’s DC magazine Women of Style!), Anchyi Wei; and CityCenterDC’s Timothy Lowery—waded into the evening, while other guests took a dip in the pool with inflatable alligators.

Models from T.H.E Artist Agency rocked the makeshift poolside runway in the swimsuits, which are available locally at Bare Necessities and Everything But Water. And the treats were just as sweet: Guests sampled custom cookies—emblazoned with shark fins—from Occasions Caterers and imbibed frozen margaritas while enjoying one last, watery blast of summer. -Photography by Kate Warren
