The Party The Emerging Scholars Program, a rigorous academic program for promising at-risk youth, celebrated its 10-year anniversary with an A+ gala on the rooftop terrace of the Liaison Capitol Hill hotel. The People Current ESP students and their parents mingled with patrons and sponsors, which included the Erkiletian Family Foundation, while listening to remarks given by Master of Ceremonies Marc Heyison, Eleanor Saslaw and John T. “Til” Hazel Jr. Best in Show Attendees sipped on special mocktails playfully named “The Honor Roll.” Photography by John Troha
