Jung hangs pieces by young local talent. As students around the city prep to go back to school, those from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts are also readying for the annual juried show at the Jung Center. Each year, Jung curates a selection of photos, sculptures, paintings and more to showcase the creativity of HSPVA's young artists. For example, Hazel Fricke, who also participated in the Contemporary Art Museum Houston's Perspectives 181: Human Nature exhibit last spring and will attend the Art Institute of Chicago this semester, showcases a series of watercolor human faces. Opening reception August 2.
