A pair of festive fêtes rang in the holidays in H-Town. Mayor Annise Parker welcomed VIP guests to a reception at the newly restored Julia Ideson Library prior to the city’s official tree lighting ceremony Downtown. Attendees included Susan Bischoff, Jim Barlow, Karen and Paul Jones, and Phoebe Tudor, who spearheaded the restoration initiative and has an Ideson library gallery named after her. … Meanwhile, fitness guru Frank Roberson, owner of Ultimate Weight Loss and Personal Training Center, hosted clients and friends at his annual Christmas party at his home.
