The Houston Symphony League hosted a magical musical morning at River Oaks Country Club, where families packed the ballroom for the League’s 14th annual fundraiser and holiday celebration—this year dubbed “A Spoonful of Sugar.” In between arts and crafts, the kids picked out pretty pastries, poured on the toppings at a decadent ice cream sundae bar, and savored stacks of French toast. After getting sufficiently sugared up, they had their picture taken with Santa and visited the Symphony’s “instrument petting zoo.” Proceeds from the morning benefited the Symphony Scouts program.
