Wash Ave’s swanky Hughes Hangar gastro-lounge, with its rustic-chic exposed brick walls and sexy leather furniture, set the scene for Verizon Wireless’ Droid Experience soirée. During the party, co-hosted by Houston magazine, the Houston Texans’ star running back and Houston Texans Foundation Ambassador Arian Foster introduced the new Droid Razr phone. Hordes of eager Foster fans munched on finger foods and savored eats from the boiled shrimp and meat carving stations, and Verizon presented a $5,000 grant to the Foundation and Educate Uganda, Foster’s charity of choice.
