That’s My Kuu!

Chef Adison Lee offers a surefire sushi hit with new Kuu.

At Kuu, plates feature artfully prepared fresh fish, as in the tuna lobster with lotus chips.

Chef Adison Lee, who built a following in his days at sushi places like Blue Fish and Midtown’s sadly shuttered Sushi Raku, is set to open Kuu, his own restaurant, in the Gateway Memorial City complex early this month. The sprawling setup of glass and stone, which boasts a huge 1,200-square-foot patio, will serve contemporary Japanese fare. Imagine inventive and very fresh sushi, seasonally rotating and artfully prepared main dishes, and fun tapas. Kuu joins Vallone’s, a fourth location of Churrascos, and nationally acclaimed chef Bradley Ogden’s upcoming Pour Society in Gateway, which may be shaping up as the next hot ’hood for foodies.
