Marissa May
Publicist, Allied Integrated Marketing

Perfect mate: Focused on family, smart, good sense of humor, sarcastic (or can at least appreciate my sarcasm), athletic and driven to succeed
I am complimented most often on: My hair and booty
The gutsiest thing I’ve ever done for love: I went on ABC’s The Bachelor, all in the name of love!
Deal-breakers: Smoking, drug use and not wanting children
Biggest turn-ons: Intelligence, humor and confidence
Longest relationship: Two years
Where do you hang out? You can usually spot me at a movie theater (for work purposes), the dog park, shopping at Morgan Kylee or grabbing drinks at Whiskey Blue and the typical Buckhead bars.
Ideal date: Start off the day with something outdoorsy (catch a ball game, head to a festival or go on a hike), and wrap it up with a great dinner and drinks at a location where we can actually hold a conversation
Hobbies: Watching reality TV and sports, going to sporting events, attempting Pinterest craft projects and social media
Favorite restaurants: The Big Ketch, Empire State South and Holeman & Finch Public House
Favorite sports teams: Tampa Bay Rays, all UNC Chapel Hill sports teams, ASU Sun Devils football and, of course, the Atlanta Braves
Favorite movies: I work in the film industry, so I have many, but my all-time favorites are Dumb and Dumber, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
Most proud pro moment: I planned and organized Brad Pitt’s visit to Atlanta that included a large-scale event—an advance screening of World War Z that brought in more than 700 attendees and a surprise appearance by him.
Part of the body you notice first: I’m a sucker for eyes.
You know you’re in love when: I’m willing to spend holidays with his family rather than mine. My family time is very precious to me, so passing that up is a big sign.
Celebrity crushes: Channing Tatum, Zac Efron and Ryan Gosling
Something people would never guess about you: I received a softball scholarship (and played all 4 years) in college.
Personal style: Relaxed and flirty
Describe yourself in three words: Intelligent, outgoing and sassy
When I want to feel sexy, I… buy a new outfit (including heels).
Who inspires you? My mother is a huge inspiration to me. She not only raised my siblings and me by herself, but she did so with grace, humility and selflessness, all while having 25 additional kids to take care of as a school teacher.
Who, dead or alive, would you most want to meet? My dad’s parents passed away before I got to know them, so I would love to have time with them.
Guilty pleasure: Reality TV and cupcakes
I can’t get enough of: Traveling—I love seeing new places and people.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given? ‘What is for you will not pass you.’
Signature drink: Depending on my mood, I rotate between wine, Champagne and cider.
I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing: Heels at a pool
The best gift I’ve ever been given: My siblings and an authentic 2008 Tampa Bay Rays World Series autographed jersey
The key to my heart is: Being great with kids and animals

The online auction will benefit the Shepherd Center. Shepherd Center is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury and brain injury.
