14th Annual Hedge Funds Care NY Open Your Heart To The Children Benefit

As wall street and hedge funds continue to endure tough criticism, one hedge fund-supported charity is shouting from the rooftops that hedge funds should use philanthropy to improve the industry's reputation. On March 1st at Cipriani on 42nd Street, 1000 leaders in hedge funds will be brought together by the charity Hedge Funds Care to raise funds to help prevent and treat child abuse and to showcase the philanthropy of the hedge fund industry. Since its inception, Hedge Funds Care has raised over $28 million and prominently showcased the charitable giving of hedge funds which often goes unnoticed.  At this years benefit, Former Yankee's manager Joe Torre will be honored and the event will be co-chaired by Jay Peller, Managing Director Citco Fund Services and Joseph Fisher, Partner at Deloitte.
