Tune-In Music Festival

Co-curated by legendary composer Philip Glass, this four-day fest doubles as a 75th birthday bash and tribute to his five-decade long career- with an impressive guest list to match. Singer Patti Smith and her band join Glass for "The Poet Speaks," performing music and readings of their favorite poets such as Allen Ginsberg amd William Blake, while jazz guitarist Bill Frisell debuts a world premiere of a composition inspired by Ginsberg's "Kaddish." Glass will also give a rare performance of his breakthrough minimalist composition "Music in Twelve Parts".
