Civil rights activist and dentist Dr. Walter Young celebrated his 77th birthday with his wife Sonjia Young and many other Atlanta and international luminaries. The evening’s events were held at Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint downtown, and guests were seen sipping on a brand-new Champagne unveiled at the party by Young International Beverage. Dr. Young’s brother, former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young, was on hand to greet guests like Mayor Kasim Reed, Chief Kayode Ogunmekan and Justice Bisi Ogunmekan, as well as James Ahn and Nam K. Park.
