Back to the Future
In its ongoing mission to combat racism, anti-Semitism and prejudice through educational programs, the Chicago office of Facing History and Ourselves held its 21st Annual Chicago Benefit Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. More than 750 civic and corporate leaders attended the event, which raised more than $1.95 million. In addition to a cocktail reception and dinner, guests enjoyed a presentation by The Devil in the White City author Erik Larson. The evening also marked the kickoff of the organization’s multimedia exhibit Choosing to Participate, which can be seen at the Harold Washington Library through Nov. 11. Photos by Dan Est
