Sweeten up Valentine’s this weekend with dinner and a show.

Dinner and a Show

by Staff Writer | Miami magazine | February 6, 2012

Try as you may, Valentine’s Day rarely fails to live up to the expectations. No one wants a bad romance, so this year, think outside the box… think dinner in a farm instead of a crowded restaurant… think entertainment with ’90s flair… think no more and read below…

For a meal with a purpose, check out this Saturday’s Dinner in Paradise. Chef Kira Volz from Broadwings Catering, along with Christopher Siragusa and Rebecca Kleinman, invite you to spark some passion into your relationship with an all-organic, multi-course meal amidst the alfresco splendor of Paradise Farms. Live music and dancing between courses will aid the digestion, and proceeds from the dinner will go to the Slow Food Movement. We’re already drooling. Feb. 11 at 5pm. Tickets $165. Paradise Farms, 19801 S.W. 320th St., Homestead, 305.248.4181, paradisefarms.net

Walk, drive or roam (if you want to) to the Arsht Center this Sunday for some big hair and shiny happy people. The B-52s are taking the stage to play all the ’90s hits that made them legends. We’re talking “Rock Lobster,” “Private Idaho” and the irresistible “Love Shack.” Feb. 12 at 8pm. Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, 1300 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, 305.949.6722, arshtcenter.org
