The Colombian Youth Philharmonic marks the end of its successful fourth season with a Miami debut. The big concert program will be lead by celebrated guest Conductor Alejandro Posada and features Piano Soloist Eduardo Rojas. This marks the first time a Latin American orchestra performs at the prestigious center on Miami Beach, and the effort is part of Colombia's Promotion Plan Abroad. The youth orchestra is composed of 92 brilliant musicians, which have garnered praise from around the world.
The world-class Colombian Youth Philharmonic offers kids from all of Colombia a grand opportunity to transcend cultural, social and physical boundaries through music. It has helped to put Colombia on the map as a center for orchestral music and as a Mecca for arts and culture.
