THE OCCASION Say “Italian design” and the Design District jumps! Such was the case at the recent private cocktail reception Nadine Curmi Borgomanero held at her MADintaly showroom to introduce clients to her new lines of Italian designers. THE CROWD Think Italiano—as in Borgomanero’s slew of stylish friends and acquaintances, as well as South Florida interior designers and a sprinkling of Design District neighbors. THE SCENE As patrons mingled and enjoyed cocktails, they also perused the new collections, which feature eclectic pieces by Lapo Elkann, Maison Martin Margiela, Karim Rashid and many other avant-garde visionaries.
