Lazy Sunday
Masterful mixology on a sunny Sunday afternoon? We can’t think of a better way to close the weekend. Apparently, Grey Goose agrees. The vodka brand, which has been on a party whirlwind through Miami as of late, closed its Punch Film series with a lazy pre-dusk soiree on the rooftop of Juvia in South Beach. A little background: Over the summer Grey Goose produced five short films featuring local chefs, influencers and celebrities from Boston to South Beach in their quest to create the perfect “punch,” a libation using locally sourced ingredients and Grey Goose. In Miami, that honor went to Slow Food Movement advocate Dylan Terry, who created the Magic City version of the drink, the South Beach Punch. The party celebrating the Miami film was right in tune with the city’s cocktail culture. Think hipsters, influencers and press types chatting away with DJ A-Trak providing the tunes. As guests enjoyed that “one last cocktail,” no one seemed ready to leave, even as evening approached. “It’s kind of like Soho here,” noted one attendee. “But without the pool.” Photography by World Red Eye
