THE OCCASION For the first time in the U.S., Marni presented the exhibition L’Arte del Ritratto by Francesco Jodice as well as a new edition of 125 chairs from the Marni Charity Project. THE GUESTS Marni Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni welcomed the likes of Laure Heriard Dubreuil, Spencer Sweeney, Lisa Marie Fernandez and the District’s own Craig Robins who was determined to purchase one of the chairs. THE SCOOP Guests perused the chairs on display, which were made by Colombian ex-prisoners and presented at 2012’s Salone del Mobile fair, and mingled with Castiglioni over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Photography by Patrick McMullan
