THE PARTY The Miami Art Museum held its annual ball at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where honorary chair Jorge Perez kept mum about the announcement that would come out a few days later: the news that MAM’s new building at Museum Park will be named after him. THE GUESTS Socialites and arts patrons were aplenty, including Gary Nader, Raysa and Alfonso Fanjul, Liz and Adolfo Henriquez, and, of course, MAM Director Thom Collins. THE SCENE Dinner, dancing, the works, plus the first-ever Crash the Ball after-party presented by MAM Contemporaries, the museum’s young professionals group.
