Cool off the freshly-squeezed way at any of these juice bars—the whole cleansing thing is entirely up to you.
1. The Original
THE PLACE With four locations and one pop-up shop (see website for others), JugoFresh has no doubt made its mark in the Miami cold-pressed juice scene. That’s because it’s not just about the jugo here; it’s about the healthy lifestyle the juice bar promotes. For instance, yoga in the courtyard is available every third Wednesday at 6:15PM and the venue has a menu with treats, like kale coconut Cobb salad, that pair perfectly with the juices. MUST HAVE The Summer Chia, made with pineapple, orange, strawberry, ginger and chia seeds. 222 NW 26th St., Miami, 786.472.2552
2. Brickell Best
THE PLACE Whether you’re a religious juicer or a cold-pressed newbie, The Juice Spot has a perfectly concocted libation for you. Founder Savannah James teamed up with fitness trainer David Alexander to ensure all the juices here are good for the palate and the body, and product specialists are on hand to help each customer create his or her unique cleanse package if they so desire. MUST HAVE The Cleanse Me Please, made with water, lemon, maple syrup, cayenne and ginger, is better than any cleansing concoction you’ve read about. 1800 SW First Ave., Miami, 786.502.3936
3. Fruit Fab
THE PLACE From a juice pharmacy that has multiple remedies for those 3 o’clock doldrums to açai power bowls, downtown’s Ten Fruits has middle-of-the-day pick-me-ups well covered. MUST HAVE The Back to Work, made with wheatgrass, carrot, spinach, cucumber, celery, beet and lemon. 143 NE Third Ave, Miami, 305.373.7678
4. Shop, Don’t Drop
THE PLACE Recharge after a shopping excursion at Aventura Mall with a fresh liquid delight from OnJuice, where every sip is filled with vitamins, minerals and nutrients that help you look good and feel better. Along with juices, the kiosk also offers healthy snacks (our pick: raspberry-lime kale chips) that won’t weigh you down. MUST HAVE The Piña-Kale-Lotta, made with pineapple, cucumber, kale and purified water. Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, 305.704.8210
5. Health Matters
THE PLACE SoFi Café is not only a juice bar but also a wholesome eatery that doesn’t break the bank. Here, juices are freshly squeezed, wraps are hand-wrapped and only the freshest ingredients make it into the featured items. MUST HAVE The To The Jungle with açaí, guaraná, blueberry, strawberry and orange juice. 500 S. Pointe Drive, Miami, 305.763.8692
