Ghost Town

It’s trick or treat time—Miami style. From mansions to mega clubs, check out the best ways to get your Halloween on.

Halloween at Hyde Beach at the SLS awaits.

Nightmare on the Beach, Oct. 26, 8PM
Dressing up feels less silly when you’re helping others. This Halloween bash features bites, bubbly and plenty of costumes with proceeds going to benefit The Little Lighthouse Foundation and its efforts to aid South Florida families in need. TICKETS $150. 4821 Pine Tree Drive, Miami Beach, 305.417.8553, nightmareonthebeach.com

Halloween Sundowner, Oct. 26, 7PM
The simple fact that The Vizcayans have been putting on this soiree for 27 years should say something. On the agenda: food, drink, live music and a costume contest all set amid the Vizcaya palazzo’s glorious gardens. TICKETS $165 for general admission; $140 for members. Vizcaya, 3251 S. Miami Ave., Miami, 305.285.2004, vizcaya.org

Playboy Halloween Masquerade, Oct. 31, 10PM
Hugh Hefner is in the house at Hyde Beach’s Halloween party—well, in spirit anyway. The SLS lounge is hoping to recreate the Playboy Mansion right here in the 305 with a masquerade that features a bunny costume contest and a variety of games for prizes. TICKETS $30-$1,500. Hyde Beach, SLS South Beach, 1702 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.455.2990, hydebeach.com

House of Pleasure, Oct. 31, 9PM
From Drake to David Beckham, celebrities are not hard to come by at Soho Beach House. This year, the private club says its Halloween extravaganza will be a “troublingly seductive evening”—make of that what you will, but we’re thinking Eyes Wide Shut. We do know one thing: no Soho soiree ever disappoints. The catch: You must be a member or a member’s guest to get in. TICKETS $95. Soho Beach House, 4385 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 786.507.7900, sohobeachhouse.com

Neon Day of the Dead, Oct. 31, 11PM
It’s 2013, so it’s only appropriate that the living dead finally get on board with the neon trend. W South Beach hotspot WALL is enlisting the help of DJ Robbie Rivera and some of his fellow spinsters for a bright and colorful take on the witching hour. TICKETS $50-$60. WALL, W South Beach, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.938.3130, wallmiami.com
