ART NOTES Irresponsible, foolish and gleeful characters form the basis for much of London-based Nigel Cooke’s creative oeuvre, and the arts-minded guests at the recently hosted invitation-only opening reception at The Goss-Michael Foundation took it all in stride, sipping cocktails while savoring one of the most comprehensive shows of Cooke’s work so far. THE LIST Co-founder Kenny Goss and Executive Director Joyce Goss mingled with gallery owners Anton Kern of New York, L.A.’s Tim Blum and London’s Stuart Shave, along with the Dallas Contemporary’s Peter Doroshenko and artists Frances Bagley and Tom Orr.
