THE GAME The western-chic crowd of 700 who recently piled into Cowboys Stadium may not have been cheering on their favorite sports team, but they were rallying for a worthy cause: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. But no one was watching the action from the stadium seats. Rather, the organization’s annual Evening Under the Star benefit party, co-chaired by Marian Bryan and Lydia Novakov and sponsored by Modern Luxury Dallas, set up shop right on the field, where Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders added rah-rah spirit. Some guests even engaged in their own turf wars, throwing the football around and showing off their best punt before browsing the silent auction items and settling in for the dinner and live auction. SHOW TIME Doug Brooks, Brinker International CEO, and wife Holly were honored for their support of the hospital before Mistress of Ceremonies Amy Vanderoef introduced headliner Craig Morgan, who entertained the crowd with lots of country hits.
