One of West Village’s newest fashionable tenants, Demerara, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, featuring none other than Miss Dallas 2012 Nazlie Mojiri to do the official honors. Directly after, owners and sisters Andrea Ganesh and Cassie Ganesh, each donning statement-making floor-length gowns, welcomed a thoroughly stylish set to the main event, benefiting the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Espada tequila sips and elegant hors d’oeuvres from Nick & Sam’s kept the crowd fueled for a runway show that served up a hearty dose of the store’s trendsetting, must-have men’s and women’s looks.
