THE PARTY The evening’s celebration marked the official start of The Campaign for Hawaii’s Children. Its purpose? To help Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children provide the best specialized care for our keiki right here at home. THE PLAYERS Bert Kobayashi, Dee Jay Mailer, Chuck Sted, Keith Matsumoto, Ray Vara, Martha Smith, Jeff Arce, Mark Polivka THE HIGHLIGHTS A special performance by Amy Hanaiali‘i and Kapiolani Friends kept guests entertained, while Mahealani Richardson emceed the event program. As a reminder of the importance of being able to provide expert neonatal care to those who need it most, attendees were given key chains cast from a footprint of a preemie who weighed just more than a pound and survived.
