Montrose home design boutique Laura U Collection hosted its first-ever Fall Art Fare, which featured works by acclaimed Houston artist Nicola Parente and benefited the local chapter of nonprofit org Communities in Schools, which seeks to lower the dropout rate among underprivileged youth. Design-savvy guests were treated to festive fare and beverages by West Ave pub St. Genevieve while they chatted up bubbly owner Laura Umansky and admired the shop’s eclectic selection of furniture and accessories. Photos by Anthony A.
