A lunch and showroom tour celebrated the grand opening of Houston Rug Mart, hosted by the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. Design aficionados strolled the 20,000 square-foot space, chatting with rug experts and admiring its diverse collection. The new design center—one of the largest of its kind in Texas—touts hand-knotted rugs, authentic Tibetan rugs from Nepal and India and fine Oushak rugs from Turkey, Egypt, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
