Ceramicist Jeremy Cole’s flora-inspired lighting blurs the boundaries between form, function and art.
Artist Jeremy Cole’s long-term fascination with light and ceramics has produced a stunning array of chandeliers, sconces and lamps inspired by flowers. Exquisitely crafted by Cole and a small team of artisans in his New Zealand studio since 2005, his lighted flowers have made their way into museums, homes around the world, luxury retailers such as Harry Winston and Bulgari, and even on the set of Black Swan.
On Nov. 4, Cole will be making his first public appearance in the Lone Star state at the Houston showroom Internum, which will carry the line exclusively in Texas this fall. Look for ceramic lighting inspired by cymbidium orchids and aloe blossoms, buds and shoots. Priced upon request, at Internum, 3303 Kirby Drive, Houston, 281.407.4691, internum.com
