A Shared Vision
The Richard Nixon Library was the setting for SoCal College of Optometry’s Shared Visions Gala and V-Awards, and PBS SoCal’s Maria Hall-Brown served as its mistress of ceremonies, hosting an evening aimed at raising money for vision care and education programs in O.C. A cocktail party kicked off the fun, complete with a preview of the Shared Visions Art Exhibit—a collection of works by visually impaired and legally blind artists. Dinner and a live auction also were crowd-pleasers, and by the night’s end, organizers had tallied a record $200,000.Photography by Matt Breneman
