Ready for Your Close Up

Calling all (no) haters! Grab your whitest wardrobe, and head over to Hotel Solamar for the NOH8 Campaign’s mobile studio to get tatted and taped to take your very own silent protest portrait. After the passing of Prop 8 in 2008, NOH8 took off in an effort to “promote marriage, gender and human equality through education and visual protest.” Since then, more than 200,000 celebs, politicians, military members, artists and everyday people have taken part, and now celebrity photographer and NOH8 Co-Founder Adam Bouska is inviting you to take your own iconic photo and join the cause. Who: Come one and come all, but it’s first come, first served.
When: Saturday, Feb. 18, 2-5pm

Price: Solo Portraits $40; Couple & Group Portraits $25 per person

Need to Know:
• Arrive camera-ready wearing a white top.
• Pick up a numbered model release to fill out.
• Get a temporary tattoo applied to your face and grab some duct tape.
• When your number is called, pose (for 5-10 frames) and make a statement.
