Island Time
The Party Twenty-six local toques dished up support for An Evening of Aloha, a fundraiser and auction for Campine chef Antonio Friscia (of Gaijin Noodle and Sake House and Stingaree), whose wife, Stacy, was severely burned in a Fourth of July accident. The Scene Hosted at Stingaree, the event’s Hawaiian theme was highlighted by leis, ukulele music, pork belly bites (made with pineapple and octopus), as well as a one-week trip to Oahu. Best in Show The night raised $30,000 for the UC San Diego Burn Center, where Stacy has been receiving medical care. Talk about good island vibes! Photography by The 4th Estate Productions
