THE PARTY Photographer Jessica Davis kicked off the holiday season at her Cedros studio with a benefit for Omo Child. THE CHARITY Founded by Rancho Santa Fe entrepreneur John Rowe, Omo Child rescues children in Ethiopia’s Omo Valley, where the Kara tribe—one of the last indigenous cultures on the continent—practices Mingi, the ritualistic killing of infants and children. Davis is working on a documentary about the practice. THE SCENE Solana Beach yummy mummies sipped vodka snowflake cocktails and the kiddies had peppermint hot cocoa.
