The Party Animal lovers of all stripes and spots came out to benefit the San Diego Humane Society at the 26th annual Fur Ball, held at the Society’s main Linda Vista center. The Scene A cross between the Oscars and the Westminster Dog Show, patrons walked a red carpet at this sold-out event. Guests wore traditional black-tie or went with the flower-friendly “Polynesian PAWradise” theme. Best in Show Honorees Martha and George Gafford were the heroes of the night, which netted nearly $500,000 to benefit the Humane Society and SPCA, almost double the amount from last year.
