On Saturday, April 19 from 6-9pm, Appellation St. Helena (ASH), representing more than 50 St. Helena wineries and 25 vineyards, in partnership with the Culinary Institute of America presents bASH, an annual food and wine pairing competition featuring Appellation St. Helena wines and culinary arts of our great restaurants and food purveyors.
Wineries and chefs collaborate to offer savory bites from a variety of St. Helena restaurants and caterers as well as 'Rising Star' CIA students selected by the teaching staff of the Culinary Institute of America.
No ordinary wine tasting, the event specifically pairs a restaurant or one of the CIA student teams with a wine from an ASH winery. Small bites are meticulously prepared to complement the wine and delight your senses. This voting competition for best food/wine pairing allows you to be the judge!
