On the evening of November 3 at the San Francisco Art Institute's historic Russian Hill campus, 600 revelers celebrated the people. art and community that fuel SFAI's maverick spirit. The Return to SFAIF Alumni Ceebration and Party fulfilled its promise of raucous entertainment, elegant food and experimental cocktails. From the Diego Rivera and Walter and McBean Galleries-which housed the works of more than two dozen contemporary artists-the campus was a playful display of both the new and the old. SFAI's outdoor quad and rooftop vistas housed the main bars, stage and dance floor, and perhaps, offered guests the most impressive spectable of the evening: unobstructed, panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay Area.
