Love City Arts & Lectures? Worship Michael Pollan? Then next Monday, pony up $500 to share the stage with New York Times bestselling author Michael Pollan of The Omnivore’s Dilemma and In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto.
When: June 11, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: The Nourse Auditorium, 275 Hayes St.
City Arts & Lectures will host the benefit and guests will have an opportunity to sit on stage and chat with Pollan and fellow food writer Patricia Unterman. Afterward, enjoy a private three-course dinner with Pollan and members of City Arts & Lectures at the Hayes Street Grill. Proceeds from the event will help to fund the restoration of the Nourse Auditorium, which will be the new home to City Arts & Lectures.
Make sure you order The Pollanator, the signature cocktail mixed as a tribute to Pollan—a St. George Terroir “Mt. Tam” gin martini served with a dusting of fennel pollen.
Tickets are $500 per person and seating is limited. Call 415-563-2463 to purchase.
