Monterey Bay Aquarium Updates List of Fish You Are Allowed to Eat Guiltlessly

Lingcod! Darkblotched Rockfish! Thornyhead Shortspine!

This is a lingcod. Go crazy.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium has just released an update to its list of sustainably-caught fish. Good news everyone: You can start eating lingcod, spiny dogfish, and about a hundred different kinds of rockfish.

Here are all the new ratings for West Coast fish. Green means the fish is the "Best Choice." Yellow means it's a "Good Alternative." And red means "Avoid." (We didn't include fish from the East Coast or Midwest, because, since you're an educated and, may we say, attractive individual, you already know better than to not be eating local.)
